Staff Profiles

Mrs. Tiffany Adams


Mrs. Adams is a 3rd grade teacher at W.B Simpson Elementary School and she has previously taught 2nd grade at WBS for 1 years & kindergarten at McIlvaine Early Childhood for 6 years. Mrs. Adams was also McIlvaine's Teacher of the Year in 2024-25! Mrs. Adams started teaching Pre-K in 2012 in her home town of Brooklyn, New York. While living in Brooklyn, Mrs. Adams attended CUNY Brooklyn College and received a Bachelors in Childhood Education, as well as a Bachelors in Children and Youth Studies in 2010. In  2012, she received her Masters in Early Childhood Education from CUNY Brooklyn College. Mrs. Adams and her husband moved to Delaware in 2019. They now have a baby girl, a dog and a cat.  Mrs. Adams enjoys cooking for her family, reading to her daughter and taking cruises to beautiful beaches. 

Mrs. Carrie Adkins

Mrs. Adkins has lived in Delaware since 1991.  She attended Ohio University, but is a die hard University of Michigan football fan. She and her husband, SMSGT. Paul Adkins, raised their four boys in the CR District. Mrs. Adkins began as a substitute teacher in 2007 and has been an instructional paraprofessional with the district since 2011.

Ms. Andrea Andrews

Andrea Andrews is a 4th grade teacher at W.B. Simpson. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education at Tennessee Technological University in Tennessee, Masters Degree in Administration and Supervision (K-12) at Tennessee Technological University, and her Educational Specialist Degree in School Systemwide Leadership at East Tennessee State University.  Ms. Andrews has been working for Caesar Rodney and WB Simpson since 2014. 

Ms. Sarah Black

Sarah Black grew up a CR Rider. She attended the University of Delaware and graduated with her Bachelors in Elementary Education and Special Education. Sarah has taught preschool, first grade, third grade and is currently a 2nd grade teacher at WBS. When she is not at school, she enjoys Marvel movies, shopping, and hanging out with her precious dog named Macaroni.

Mrs. Kristyn Bradford

Mrs. Kristyn Bradford teaches 3rd grade at WBS. She began her teaching career in 2011 after she received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Lancaster Bible College in Lancaster,  Pennsylvania. In 2018, she received her Master's Degree in Special Education with a certification in Autism education from Wilmington University. When she's not at school, Mrs. Bradford enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and reading.

Mrs. Mandi Christensen

 
Mandi Christensen teaches in a 5th grade classroom for the Chinese Immersion Program. She is a Caesar Rodney Graduate and earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education at Wilmington University. Mrs. Christensen lives in Camden with her husband and two children. 

Camika Clarke

Ms. Camika Clarke

Camika Clarke began her teaching career in 2007 after earning a bachelor's degree in childhood/ special education from Medgar Evers College located in Brooklyn, NY. In 2013, she earned a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Design.  She is currently a Education Diagnostician at WBS.  During her spare time, she enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends. 

Ms. Jada Courtney

Jada Courtney is a Instructional Paraprofessional since 2024. She went to W.B Simpson and graduated from CR High School. She attended Delaware Tech where she got her Associates Degree in General Studies and played Softball there as well. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and her puppy Ricky. 

Miss Lauren David

Lauren David is a reading paraprofessional at WBS.  She has been in the education field since 2013 and has worked with both preschool and school- age children. She has a degree in Early Childhood Education and Child Advocacy. In her spare time, she likes reading, traveling, going to the beach, performing at her local theatre, and spending time with loved ones.  

Mrs. Megan Dempsey-Byler

Mrs. Dempsey began her teaching career in 2013 at Simpson. She currently serves at the math coach working with students in grades first through fifth. Mrs. Dempsey has a degree in elementary education with a concentration in special education from the University of Delaware. A master's degree in teacher leadership from Walden University and a graduate certificate in Autism and Severe Disabilities from Wilmington University. In her free time, Mrs. Dempsey enjoys spending time with her family and reading. 

Mrs. Christina Duff

Mrs. Duff is a 2nd grade teacher at WB Simpson. She graduated from Wesley College in 2011 and began teaching in 2016. Mrs. Duff enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and crafting. 

Mrs. Dawn Evans

 
Mrs. Evans has been teaching at W.B. Simpson Elementary School since 2014 and was the 2022-2023 WBS Teacher of the Year. She has been the WBS school librarian since 2024.  She is a graduate of the University of Delaware where she majored in Elementary Education and Special Education. Mrs. Evans was born and raised near Baltimore, MD, but currently resides in Milford with her husband and three children.
 

Mrs. Denise Ewell-Fleming

Denise Ewell-Fleming is a 3rd-grade teacher at W.B. Simpson. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education Studies, and her Master’s Degree in Special Education at Wilmington University. Mrs. Ewell-Fleming has been working for the Caesar Rodney School District since 2020.

Ms. Jennifer Frazier

Ms. Frazier has been teaching for 20+ years.  She has a bachelor’s degree is in Elementary Education (K-6), and a master’s degree is in Educational Technology and Curriculum Design. She is passionate about teaching and truly enjoys helping students grow in all areas. Outside of teaching, she enjoy spending time with her family and making as many memories as she can. 

Mrs. Amanda Graham

Mrs. Graham has been a teacher for 15 years, with experience in grades 1–4, special education, and working with multilingual learners. As a proud Caesar Rodney graduate (Go Riders!), she is grateful to be teaching in the community where she grew up. Mrs. Graham lives in Magnolia with her family, and in her spare time she enjoys reading, being outdoors, tending to her plants, and working on her farm.

Mr. Rui Guo

Rui Guo is the 3rd grade Chinese Immersion Teacher at WBS.  He started with the district in 2025.  He has his Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Elon University and received his Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Language - English from Chengdu University of Technology.  He also has a Master's in Theatre Education from University of Northern Colorado. 

Mrs. Amanda Hobbs

Mrs. Hobbs began her teaching career at W.B. Simpson Elementary School in 2012. She currently serves as the Special Education Case Manager and 504 Coordinator. Mrs. Hobbs earned a Master's degree in Teacher Leadership from the University of Delaware and her undergraduate degree from Eastern University. In her spare time Mrs. Hobbs raises Boer goats with her family, coaches field hockey for Delaware Shore Field Hockey Association and enjoys spending time with her family.

Mrs. Donna Hurd

Donna Hurd is the WBS office clerk. She has been with W.B. Simpson since 2021.  She loves what she does and enjoys watching the students grow and move up through the grades. Away from school she loves spending time with her family, and her beloved pitbull Finn.

Ms. Alexis Hutson

Ms. Hutson is a Resident Teacher in a 2nd grade classroom.  She currently a student at University Of Delaware working towards her Bachelor degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Special Education. She enjoys going camping with friends, singing karaoke and watching musical theatre performances! 

Ms. Amy Jarrell

Ms. Jarrell has been working as an Occupational Therapy Assistant for the Caesar Rodney School District since 2016. She earned her Associate of Applied Science degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant studies and has enjoyed supporting students in developing the skills they need to succeed both in the classroom and in their daily lives. Throughout her time with the district, she has worked with students across a variety of grade levels and abilities, helping them build fine motor, sensory, visual-motor, and self-regulation skills through engaging, meaningful activities. Amy is passionate about making therapy fun, functional, and individualized to each student’s needs. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her three children, tackling home improvement projects, and making memories with her kids at the beach! 

Mrs. Megan Kelly

Mrs. Kelly is a 1st grade teacher at WBS.  has been teaching at W.B. Simpson since 2021.  Before beginning her professional teaching career, she graduated from Concord high school then West Chester University of PA, class of 2007.  She has worked with children from infancy to 12 years old in various settings throughout her life.  She has been a longtime volunteer with Special Olympics DE and Boy Scouts of America. Mrs. Kelly is additionally proud to be a wife and mother of three children.

Mrs. Kate Kleinot

Mrs. Kleinot started at the Art Teacher at WBS in 2026. She brings 20 years of experience teaching in the elementary school classroom. She earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees in Education from the University of Delaware. Outside of school, Mrs. Kleinot enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with her family. She is excited to inspire creativity and share her love of art with her students.

Mrs. Samantha Lloyd

Mrs. Lloyd is a first grade teacher at WB Simpson. She began her teaching career in 2008. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Wilmington University in Elementary Education & her Master’s degree in Reading . Mrs. Lloyd lives in Camden-Wyoming with her husband & three children. She enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors & snuggling up with a good book!

Mrs. Morgan Lynch

Born and raised in Delaware, Morgan Lynch is a dedicated nursing professional committed to compassionate, patient-centered care. She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing in 2018, followed by her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Delaware Technical Community College.

Morgan began her nursing career in 2018 at Bayhealth Sussex Campus, working on the Medical-Surgical unit, where she developed a strong clinical foundation. In early 2022, she transitioned to Delaware Hospice as an Admissions Nurse, where she continues to support patients and families during critical moments with empathy and expertise.

Outside of work, Morgan enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, as well as hunting, and making memories on family beach trips.

Mrs. Erinne Malloy

Born and raised in Delaware, Mrs. Malloy graduated from Delaware State University in May 2019 with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education.  In 2019, she started as the a 2nd grade teacher for the Chinese Immersion Program at WBS and since transitioned to 3rd grade. She has taken many leadership roles, both as an educator and as a student, and enjoys getting involved in different organizations and events. In her free time, Mrs. Malloy enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband and two daughters, as well as reading and listening to music.

Mrs. Lindsay Malloy

 Mrs. Lindsay Malloy is a 3rd grade teacher at W.B. Simpson. Mrs. Malloy was born and raised in Magnolia, DE and is a Caesar Rodney graduate. After graduating, she continued her education at Wilmington University earning a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She started her teaching career in 2013. In 2020, Mrs. Malloy earned her Master's Degree in Instruction: Teaching and Learning from Wilmington University.  In her spare time, Mrs. Malloy loves spending time with her family including her husband and three boys (two are identical twins!). 

Ms. Brianna Mears

Brianna Mears is a 4th grade teacher at W.B. Simpson Elementary School. Ms. Mears earned her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Wilmington University. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, going to the beach and traveling.

Ms. Taylor Morris

Taylor Morris is a 2nd grade teacher at W. B. Simpson and is was the 25-26 District Teacher of the Year! This is her 11th year teaching in the Caesar Rodney School District. Ms. Morris is a Delaware native and attended the University of Delaware for her Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education.  Ms. Morris previously taught at McIlvaine Early Childhood Center before teaching at WBS.  She resides in Camden-Wyoming and enjoys spending time with her family, reading books, fishing and relaxing at the pool! Her true passion is teaching children how to read!

Mrs. Beth Ohline

Mrs. Beth Ohline is the School Counselor at WBS.  She has a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from York College of Pennsylvania and a Masters Degree in School Counseling from WIlmington University. She has been with the Caesar Rodney School District since 2016.

Ms. Kacey Poisson

Kacey Poisson began her teaching career in 2018 here at W.B. Simpson! She is a first grade teacher. Ms. Poisson earned her Bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Wilmington University. When she is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her dog Auggie!
 

Mrs. Rachel Sams

Mrs. Sams is a 5th grade teacher at WBS.  She began her educational career as a paraprofessional at  W.B. Simpson Elementary School in 2016. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Grand Canyon University.  Outside of school, her interests include music, sports, reading, nature, and spending time with her family. 

Mrs. Karine Scott

Karine Scott, a native French-Canadian, dreamed of becoming a physical education teacher following in her family’s footsteps. Her journey began when she relocated to the United States to play NCAA Division 1 Women’s Ice Hockey at Minnesota State University. She graduated from West Chester University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Physical Education. Upon graduation, she started teaching physical education at W.B. Simpson Elementary and Kent ILC in 2015. Karine has developed a phenomenal physical education and comprehensive school health program that promotes health and wellness and embraces a whole-child approach. Her passion and leadership allowed her to serve as the School Health Committee chairperson implementing school-wide initiatives such as Workout Wednesday and National Child Health Day. Karine was the recipient of several grants including Action for Healthy Kids, Bowler’s Ed, and First Tee of Delaware addressing the challenges of a strict fiscal budget. In addition, she serves as a representative for the Caesar Rodney School District Developmental Arts Council assisting in curriculum development. Karine earned her Master’s Degree in Sport Administration from Delaware State University. Her graduate internship with the Society of Health and Physical Education (SHAPE) Delaware advanced her professional aspiration to become the current SHAPE Delaware President. As president, she collaborates with the Department of Education and the Division of Public Health to impact surrounding communities throughout the state of Delaware. Karine continues to be a role-model by leading a healthy life-style with her husband and three sons.

Mrs. Chelsey Sebok

Mrs. Chelsey Sebok is 1st grade teacher at WBS. She began as a paraeducator at WBS in 2022. She started her educator journey in 2016 in Early Childhood education. She graduated from Washington State University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Social Science. She also received her Masters of Teaching -K-6 with Special Ed. endorsement at Relay Graduate School of Education. She looks forward to connecting with her students and creating a safe place for them in the classroom. 

She is a proud Airforce spouse and mom of 2. In her free time, she loves reading, anything fitness related, and spending time with her family. 

Dr. Jessica Shane

Mrs. Jessica Shane has served in the educational field since 2011.  She has the current role of Achievement Liaison Teacher (ALT) at W.B. Simpson. Mrs. Shane has previous experience as a reading specialist and has experience teaching grades K-3. Mrs. Shane's heart belongs to CR as a 2007 alumni.  She earned her undergrad degree in elementary education (K-6) from Wilmington University, Master's of Education in Reading (K-12), and is currently in school for her Doctorate in Leadership. In her spare time, Mrs. Shane loves taking care of her horses, traveling, and spending time with her fur babies & husband.

Mrs. Christine Smith

Mrs. Christine Smith is the 5th grade band teacher at W.B. Simpson, W. Reily Brown, Star Hill, &  Allen Frear.  She has been with the Caesar Rodney School District since 2023.  She received her Master of Arts Degree in Applied Technology in Education in 2015 from Wilmington University.  In 2007 she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Education from Shepherd University.

Ms. Melanie Stalworth

Ms.Stalworth  is a 5th grade teacher at W.B. Simpson Elementary School. She began her career in teaching in 2016 after graduating from Wilmington University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. She had the pleasure of working at Kent County Community School as well as Nellie Hughes Stokes. Then shortly after attained her Masters in Human Resources. She took a short break from teaching, and returned the 2020-2021 school year. She graduated with her Masters Degree in Special Education through Relay (K-12) in 2023. She looks forward to making connections with her students this year, and fostering a love for reading. 

Dr. Cori Stoken

 
Dr. Cori Stoken is a 1st through 5th grade Special Education Teacher. This is her 12th year teaching and her 9th year at WBS. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education from York College of PA, a Masters of Education degree in Special Education from Wilmington University, and her Doctorate in School Leadership from WIlmington University.  She is originally from Baltimore, MD and loves the outdoors, animals, and running. Dr. Stoken has a horse, dog, and two goats. In her free time she enjoys going to the beach and the mountains with her family.

Mrs. Heather Swartzentruber

Heather Swartzentruber is the music teacher at WBS.  She started in 2026 at WBS with over 18 years of experience inspiring young musicians and directing choruses at both the elementary and middle school levels. A proud graduate of Delaware State University, her passion for music education and talent for bringing out the absolute best in her students make her a wonderful addition to our community.
 

Mrs. Erin Taraboletti

Erin Taraboletti has been working as a Speech-Language Pathologist for Caesar Rodney School District since 2003. She holds a M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from East Stroudsburg University and is ASHA certified. In her time with the CR school district, she has worked with students from pre-K to 12th grade, with the majority of her time working with elementary aged students. She enjoys creating materials and keeping therapy sessions fun and functional. Mrs. Taraboletti spends her spare time reading and cheering on her two children in their sports and extracurricular activities.

Mrs. Jamie Tucker

Jamie Tucker has been the Student Behavioral Interventionalist at W.B. Simpson since 2022 and in the education field since 2003. Jamie has a Bachelors degree in Psychology. In her spare time, she enjoys being outside with her husband and three sons.

Ms. Kayla Turlington

Kayla Turlington is a paraprofessional at WBS since 2025.  She graduated from Wilmington University with her Bachelor’s in Business Management in May of 2022. She was introduced to the world of Early Childhood in March of 2023. She enjoys working with children and watching them grow and succeed. She loves to spend time with family, listen to music, and watch the waves at the beach!

 

Ms. Kennedy Turner

Ms. Turner started her teaching career at W.B. Simpson in 2022 and currently teaches 2nd grade.  She graduated from Salisbury University with a B.S. in Elementary Education. She finds joy when it comes to the little things in life. She cannot wait to see what experiences this career brings her as a teacher. 

Ms. Kristina Welch

Ms. Welch  is a 4th grade teacher and has been teaching at W.B. Simpson Elementary School since 2022. She began her teaching career in 2014, having earned her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary and Special Education from Towson University. She graduated with her Masters Degree in Exceptional Children and Youth from the University of Delaware in 2021. 

Mrs. Kaitlin Wilkes

Kaitlin Wilkes is the reading specialist and literacy coach at W.B. Simpson. She has taught in the Caesar Rodney School District since 2007 and has worked with first, second, and fourth grades as a classroom teacher. This is her second year as a reading specialist at W. B. Simpson. Mrs. Wilkes earned her elementary education degree at the University of Delaware and holds a Master of Science in the Education of Reading from Arkansas State University. Mrs. Wilkes was born and raised in Delaware (and a CR alum!) and resides with her husband and three sons. She loves to read and write and spends as much time outside as possible!

Ms. Anique Wilson

Anique Wilson is proud to work as a paraprofessional at WBS!  She has been a paraprofessional in the CRSD since 2021. She was born and raised in Delaware and graduated from Caesar Rodney High School.  As she works toward her paralegal certification, she remains committed to ongoing learning and growth.  Outside of work, she loves spending time with her wonderful 5-year-old son. She also enjoys reading, going to the beach, watching movies, and bowling. 

Ms. Onna Woods

Ms. Onna Woods started at WBS in 2024 as a 4th grade teacher and is currently teaching in 5th grade.  Prior to this she was at Caesar Rodney High School for 9+ years.   She graduated from Caesar Rodney High School and received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Hampton University.  In 2015, she received her Master's Degree in Elementary Education & Special Education from Wilmington University.

 


 

Ms. Kathryn Wooters

Ms. Kathryn Wooters teaches 4th grade at WBS. She began her teaching career in 2024 and she received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Western Governor's University. When she's not at school, she enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her family. 

Dr. Chunyang Yang

Chunyang Yang is a third through fifth grade Chinese Immersion Program teacher at W.B. Simpson Elementary School. Ms. Yang earned her Master of Education degree from University of Maryland, College Park and earned her Bachelor degree from Towson University. This is Ms. Yang’s third year teaching in Delaware. Ms. Yang really enjoys life in Delaware and she is very excited to be a part of the Simpson Family. She really enjoys teaching and learning with her wonderful students. Ms. Yang's favorite things to do are traveling and singing.
